At the beginning of the 1960s, Sarah's grandparents, Franz & Mathilde, founded a small hotel in the village of Tesimo, South Tyrol. It was the time when guests booked a room by writing a letter. Everything worked a little bit more slowly, however, everything was a little bit more personal. They had guests from all over the world who shared their accommodation for almost 40 years. After years of success, the hotel was closed and remained so for 20 years.
Sarah and Philipp opened the doors again with the vision to start the first coliving and workation retreat in South Tyrol, called franz&mathilde.
