Anyone who works remotely and/or is developing a personal project, entrepreneurship, etc.

To have a well-paced experience, we make sure that everyone who comes is working, so that the atmosphere is calm and productive during working hours, but active, fun and purposeful when we're not working.

Stays are between one and four months. Minimum of one month because we prefer sharing in slow mode rather than consuming one-off experiences - maximum of four months because we prefer it to be a living project in which more people can participate. If you want to take advantage to make key steps (slow down, rethink yourself personally and/or professionally or live nature in depth...), we have seen that the optimal stay at FEM is at least a couple of months, everything requires its process.

You will see that all our rooms are private, but you have the option to share it with a friend or your partner. Bathrooms are shared with a maximum of two people.

We believe that a leisurely experience is more fulfilling on a personal level and makes synergies with the territory and people lasting. For this reason, if you come for more than two months it will be more economical.

Yes, the double room is designed precisely so you can do that.

The reservation process starts with the contact form. In the same form you will see availability and price.

We will contact you in case there are any doubts and, if necessary, we will make a video call to get to know each other (you can arrange it here).

The reservation is formalized by paying a deposit of €350 that will be refunded when you leave. With the confirmation of the reservation we will send you practical data for arrival.

Now you just have to wait, the days before you come to FEM we will be in contact to make things easier for you. Upon arrival, we will formalize the reservation with a contract and payments with invoices.

Here. We are in the Pyrenees but 1:30 h from Barcelona. At the foot of the ridges and ski slopes, but less than an hour from the Costa Brava, since we are in the Ripollès (eastern Pyrenees). We are surrounded by forests, trails, rivers and pools, clouds, roe deer, mushrooms, and we share and learn day by day from people who know, respect and care for the territory generation after generation.

We have the privilege of being located in La Folcrà (14th century), an emblematic farmhouse of the Pyrenees with livestock and agricultural activity for centuries. Currently, we share La Folcrà with Xevi and Gemma's small family farm, who with their integrative attitude help us -not only contemplate life in nature-, but understand and respect it day by day.

It's easy to get there by car (1:30 h from Barcelona), by bus (from Barcelona center to Sant Pau de Segúries) or by train to Ripoll and we would have to come pick you up.

The access is paved and we are 10 min by bike from Sant Pau de Segúries (the nearest town) and 10 min by car from larger centers like Camprodon or Sant Joan de les Abadesses.

The regional capitals Ripoll and Olot are 20 and 25 min away respectively.

Yes. We all organize ourselves to go shopping and anything else that may arise. In addition, the nearest town is a few km away and you can go by bike on the green way. It's a pleasant 5-10 minute bike ride or about 20 minutes walking.

Yes, we have a shared Volkswagen Polo among FEM residents, which you can use whenever you need it to move freely and discover even the most hidden corners of the region.

You can also use a Honda Scoopy 50cc moped, a very practical and pleasant option.

Through an app, we manage bookings and share the expenses easily and transparently, with a cost much lower than a rental. To use them, you just need to be over 25 years old and have a driving license valid in Spain with a minimum of 2 years of seniority for the corresponding vehicle.

During working hours you'll find that everyone is pretty much doing their own thing. Working in the coworking space or outdoor areas, making a call at the room desk or taking a break in the gallery chatting with someone (yes, networking happens at FEM too :).

But when work ends, work ends. It's time to dedicate time to ourselves, individually or with others. At FEM we live together and do things together, but at the same time we respect personal space and the moments of being "on our own" that we all need for balance.

Yes. We have 1000Mb fiber optic internet connection that reaches practically all areas of the house as well as outdoor spaces, such as the threshing floor or the gallery.

At FEM each person takes care of their own food, we've seen that it's the best way to respect everyone's schedules, tastes and customs. Of course we very often have joint dinners, barbecues and share many moments around the table! But, considering that stays are at least one month, we believe this independence favors establishing a healthy dialogue between personal space and common space.

We share food and common use products through a pot of €18 per month.

Of course. We think that the magic of coliving is precisely finding a good balance between personal space and shared space.

All rooms are private unless you decide to share it with a friend or your partner. In addition, we have plenty of spaces to work or make calls: the coworking space, the rooms, the gallery with mountain views or even the greenhouse or the forest if you want a little extra inspiration.

We give importance to order and cleanliness of common spaces because they facilitate coexistence. We ensure a clean and tidy environment at all times and ask for everyone's collaboration in daily maintenance.

In addition, once a week professional cleaning of common areas is done and we share the cost, which comes to €9 per person. You can also save money and clean one of the common areas yourself.

Yes, we have a garden with a small greenhouse. We are learning, so anything that involves sharing knowledge is more than welcome 🙂

Yes, we can lend you a simple bike to get around here. In addition, in the area you can rent all kinds of sports equipment for both summer and winter.

Each month we create together a small family of between 6 and 8 people. Perhaps because we are not too many we bond so much and we are characterized by the integrative attitude of everyone who comes.

When you arrive at FEM you will find people who, like you, have chosen to rethink their way of living and have taken action: they are making an effort to live in a way that is coherent with their way of understanding things.

This common point unites and makes differences an opportunity to learn, creates family – a small but select family of brave, conscious and valid people, capable of imagining and walking towards the world we want it to be.

FEM is about integrating nature and the rural world into daily life, creating bonds, exchanging ideas, having a good time. A very good time! We don't have a closed activity agenda but, depending on the time of year and everyone's interests, we organize ourselves and do some things or others.

FEM is an ideal place to take advantage of nature and do outdoor sports. High mountain trekking, skiing, mountain and road biking, climbing, yoga, horseback riding, mushroom hunting, contemplating and learning about nature, collaborating with the garden...

Due to its geographical location, Ripollès is an area with a lot of history and a cultural offer closely linked to the territory. There are lots of towns, buildings and historic corners to visit, routes to do and a good network of local producers with whom we organize workshops or visits according to each group's interests.

In addition, since we share the day among people with complementary knowledge and professions, workshops are also organized to exchange knowledge among ourselves.

One way to create a positive impact in the place that welcomes us is by supporting local producers and businesses.

In Sant Pau de Segúries (10 min by bike) there is a market every Thursday plus several shops with all the basic products you might need, in Sant Joan de les Abadesses and Camprodon (10 min by car) the market is on Sundays and there is an attractive local commercial network, plus large supermarkets. We have contact with local producers and, when possible, we buy directly from them. It's the way to know exactly what you eat, how it's been made and, at the same time, support a strategic sector for the territory that is increasingly suffocated by the macro food industry.

If you didn't know, now you know: in Ripollès you eat very well! There is also a gastronomic offer of mountain cuisine that you can't finish and that you will have the opportunity to try if you take the step to come.

No. We love animals and on the farm there are dogs, cats, chickens, cows... but, precisely for this reason, we cannot admit pets. The house animals have their rhythm and we prefer not to stress them or have them constantly change their dynamics.

We usually go to Vallter 2000, which is 35 min by car. Vall de Núria is also nearby (about 30 min to Ribes de Freser) and, although they are a bit further (1h approx), we also go to La Molina and La Masella.

Sharing daily life with similar people and in a natural environment has many advantages but requires willingness to adapt, proactivity and collaboration.
