    About Dwell Azores

Dwell Azores is a coworking and coliving space located on a cliff with direct Atlantic Ocean views in Fenais da Luz, São Miguel Island. The space offers private rooms and loft spaces for up to 12 guests, combining accommodation with a creative coworking environment. Dwell provides a small but vibrant community where remote workers can stay connected while being productive, with weekly meetings and various activities organized by both hosts and guests.

    Origin story

Ania and Charles, the owners of Dwell, visited São Miguel twice before making a spontaneous decision to move to the Azores and start a business together in 2019. They took the leap and bought an old ruin that they renovated themselves, creating Dwell Coworking & Coliving. With a shared love for travel and community, they envisioned a place where individuals from all walks of life could come together, become friends, and create meaningful connections.

    Community philosophy

Dwell operates on the principle that guests ARE the community. The space provides opportunities for remote workers to stay connected while being productive, addressing the common issue of missing out on social activities around the workplace.

The community approach centers around weekly Monday meetings where guests contribute and suggest activities that interest them. Activities are often created by guests for guests, fostering a collaborative environment where residents take ownership of their shared experience.

Dwell emphasizes being part of a cool, laid back community of great people, with the philosophy that when individuals from all walks of life come together, they can become friends and create meaningful connections. The space serves as a platform for people to interact and grow with the digital nomad community in the Azores.

    Hosts

Hi! I'm Ania from Poland. I'm a people person who enjoys connecting with others and being outdoors. I'm a fast learner and I deeply care about well-being of other people. I have a Master's Degree in Psychology and currently I work as an online Polish teacher.

I crave the freedom to be challenged and creative as I quickly become discouraged when I get trapped in a boring role. Running a creative co-working space in the Azores is a fantastic way to learn new skills and bring to the table some of mine.

Hey there. I'm Charles from USA. I've always been passionate about working with people. Hearing stories, diving into their experiences with them and growing together. I enjoy hosting cooking nights (although I don't make any claims to being a professional chef)

I also write music and sing (somewhat professionally) 🙂 I'm on Spotify and Itunes and Youtube. My artist name is Rivertide. I'm am writing and recording from the island and host some songwriting co-writes from time to time.

My background is in business. I have experience renovating houses/rental property. I have renovated 17 houses in the USA and have a variety of practical handy-man and business skills.
