A coliving space is a modern living arrangement designed to foster community, collaboration, and personal growth. It's a unique concept that combines comfortable accommodation with shared living, creating an environment where like-minded individuals can live, work, and socialise together. The real magic happens in the communal areas. Our spaces are thoughtfully designed to encourage interaction, whether it's sharing a meal, collaborating on projects, or simply enjoying a conversation with fellow colivers. At Anceu Coliving, we believe in the power of community and provide a supportive environment for those looking to work, live, and grow together.

How many colivers in Anceu?

That's something hard to answer. We have space for up to 22 people, but the **average of colivers is around 16.** If that's something important for you, don't forget to mention it in the booking form.

We strive to provide a well-rounded coliving experience, ensuring you have everything you need to work, relax, and engage with our vibrant community. Subject to a small contribution fee: * Laundry/dryer: 3 euros per load ( 2 euros for washing machine, 1 euro for dryer). Cleaning products included. * Sodas, beer, ice creams and wine in the shared fridge

We include coffee, tea, and bread for your morning breakfast. Lunch is self-organized, as it's very hard for us to manage everyone's schedules. We organize common dinners. How do groceries work?

If you bring your own car, there is a supermarket 10 minutes away from the coliving. In case you don't feel like driving, or you don't own a car, we do **online groceries once a week**. On those groceries, we do both communal dinners and private groceries.

What are the rates of Anceu Coliving?

**Daily Prices** - **1 person individual room:** 40€ - **2 people double room:** 50€ - **Detached apartment:** 60€ - **Shared room (3 people sharing):** 25€ *Note: For stays shorter than 30 days, there is an extra charge of 50%

Can I stay in Anceu Coliving less than 30 days?

Bookings shorter than 30 days are not allowed in the booking system. In case you can't stay the 30 days, please [send us an email](mailto:hello@anceu.com) explaining us the situation, and if we have availability we'll figure it out. Note that for stays shorter than 30 days **we charge a 50% extra** on the prices shown in the website.

How long can I be in Anceu Coliving?

The stays in Anceu Coliving can go from **30 days,** up to **62 days** . We understand rotation is very important for the community. We try to balance the group as much as possible according to the people's profiles. Because of it, we've developed a form to balance out.

How does the cancelation policy works?

You pay **your first 15 nights when you make your booking** online. The rest, along with other extras like drinks/laundries, is paid at the end of your stay (or monthly if you stay more than 1 month). Payments can be made on site by card or through wire transfer. #### Cancellation policy Because of regulations. bookings are not refundable. In case you have had an emergency and you can't attend, please contact us and we'l find a solution that beneficts both sides.

Can I join the initiatives you run in Anceu Coliving and Rural Hackers without speaking Spanish?

Of course! We'll be there to help you out with the language barrier in case is needed.

About Anceu Coliving

Anceu Coliving is a rural coliving and coworking space in Galicia, Spain focused on revitalizing Anceu village through community, nature, and local impact. Under the slogan "Think globally, act locally, revive rural," it provides a platform for remote workers to live in nature while contributing to rural revitalization through technology, arts, and creativity.

Origin story

Agustin founded Anceu Coliving after learning about Galician villages becoming abandoned and empty. He envisioned creating a rural coliving space as an economic engine to rebuild and reconstruct a village. After months of searching, he found a 3000 square meter rebuilt village in Anceu and negotiated with the owner. The project began in February 2020, but COVID delayed the opening. Using this time to prepare, he organized a soft launch in July 2020 with a contest inviting over 40 people from around the globe to test the space. After receiving feedback and making improvements, Anceu officially opened on August 1st, 2020.

Anceu operates on three core principles:

The community believes in cooperation over competition, building long-term alliances with other colivings and creative hubs throughout Europe to help other rural areas and inspire people to create similar initiatives.
