Avalon Co-living emerged from James and Dani's desire to bring their hospitality skills together with their mountain passions. Having worked in hospitality all their lives across hotels, restaurants, bars and spas, they created Avalon as their way of building a home for travelers who share their love of mountain life - skiing and snowboarding in winter, hiking and biking in summer. The coliving represents their mission to create the best co-living space in Bulgaria, where travelers can live for a while and truly feel at home.
Bansko is a mountain town in southwest Bulgaria with a thriving digital nomad community, situated in the Pirin mountain region and sandwiched between the hot mineral springs of Banya and the ski area. The Avalon sits right in the heart of Bansko, between the gondola and the old town, making it easy to reach most of the town on foot.
The area is surrounded by impressive peaks including Todorka, Vihren, and Kutelo, with a small but perfectly formed ski resort, vast mountain biking and hiking networks, and wild rock climbing walls at Peshteritay.
