Circles was born from co-founder Enric Solé's personal experience of spending 10 years traveling the world as an entrepreneur — living alone in hotels and apartments, missing out on the possibilities for growth and connection that community can offer.
After selling his company SITmobile, Enric spent five years in Palo Alto, where he discovered the hacker house culture of Silicon Valley and helped with Startup Embassy — an experience he wished he'd had as a younger entrepreneur. He realised that a coliving had to be "a home away from home, designed with both creativity and productivity in mind. A place where you can work, get inspired, connect, relax and replace that traditional way of a workspace with a flexible environment."
Driven by the belief that the people you cross paths with while traveling can play a crucial role in your life, Enric and co-founder Natalia Juncosa launched Circles in April 2022 as their flagship house in Barcelona — with the goal of giving other digital entrepreneurs the opportunity to create meaningful connections and a plug-and-play instant community.
