    About Playworking

Playworking is a coliving house for nomadic adventurers located on Montenegro's Lustica Peninsula, uniquely positioned between rugged mountains and crystal clear Adriatic waters. The space combines deep work with active play, offering location independent professionals a place where creativity, productivity and good vibes flourish through Montenegro's natural beauty and outdoor adventures.

    Origin story

Playworking opened in 2017 as an evolution of Montenegro+, an adventure tourism company founded in 2011. The founders recognized that outdoor activities like kayaking, biking, hiking, and SUP weren't just amenities—they were the heartbeat of community building. These shared adventures became the glue that bonded residents together. Building on years of experience introducing Montenegro's wild side to hundreds of visitors, they created Playworking to serve the growing tribe of remote workers and digital nomads who sought a balance between productivity and an invigorating lifestyle.

    Community philosophy

Playworking believes that shared experiences bring people together. The community is built around the principle that incorporating an element of play in everyday life has a huge impact on work and personal fulfillment. Studies have shown that creating a work environment that values and embraces the art of play increases ideation and productivity. The space fosters connection through group activities, weekly dinners, outdoor adventures, and communal cooking, creating an atmosphere that is incredibly healthy for both body and mind with flexible schedules accommodating individual needs.
