The City Apartment offers a cozy and social living space in one of Nice's most sought-after neighborhoods. Located in the heart of Nice, residents have cafés, bakeries, restaurants, and local shops at their doorstep, with the beach just 10 minutes away and the main station 13 minutes away. The space features 6 private and shared rooms named after nearby neighborhoods, with comfortable shared bathrooms. Perfect for nomads who enjoy vibrant city life without the party chaos.
Manuel and Giedre created NomadUnion out of their shared love for meaningful connections, inspiring surroundings, and the lifestyle of digital nomadism. After years of bouncing between coliving spaces across the world and spending extended time working remotely on the French Riviera, they realized this region is an incredible place for digital nomads — and wanted to take all the things they loved most and create something of their own.
This is a passion project, not a faceless business. The founders spend part of the year living on-site and hosting guests themselves, and the rest of the time they're still traveling — sometimes nomading themselves — but no matter where they are, they stay closely connected to the community and the space.
Their goal: to offer more than just a place to stay — to create a real home where work, nature, and community come together.
NomadUnion is built around three key pillars: Productivity, Connections, and Exploration — all aimed at helping residents level up their work-life balance on the Côte d'Azur.
The experience is designed for independent digital nomads and remote workers who are eager to contribute to the community, share experiences, and build meaningful relationships. Activities are community-driven rather than structured: guests often organise shared dinners, trips, or outings together, creating an organic and relaxed atmosphere.
A minimum 1-month stay is required, reflecting the belief that lasting connections take time. The space is explicitly not for short-term tourists expecting hotel-like service, or those uninterested in engaging with other guests. As the founders put it: "Where Community isn't a choice, it's a lifestyle."
The apartment is located in one of Nice's most sought-after neighborhoods, right in the heart of the city center. The area sits between the Alps and the Mediterranean, benefiting from a unique microclimate with mild, sunny winters and comfortable summers. The old town (Vieux-Nice) is just a few minutes' walk away, surrounded by colorful streets full of good food, cafés, and local culture. The Mediterranean beach is 10 minutes on foot.
Reviewers consistently describe the location as ideal for daily life: walkable to supermarkets, restaurants, gyms, and the beach. Despite being on a somewhat busy street, guests note that double-paned windows keep the apartment quiet and peaceful inside. The neighborhood has a vibrant urban energy — lively but not a party scene, with a genuine residential feel.
Nice-Ville main station is a 13-minute walk away, giving easy access to the wider French Riviera coast. Monaco is 20 minutes by train, Antibes and Cannes around 30 minutes, and Italy just 40 minutes — making Nice an excellent base for regional exploration.
