Option 2: Take a Train to Ahangama
First, take a bus from the airport to Colombo Fort (approximately 45 minutes). Then, take a train to Ahangama. From Ahangama train station, you can reach Netscowork by taking a tuk-tuk.
- Pros: Budget-friendly choice (approximately 6 euros for the entire journey). Enjoy scenic views during the train journey. Suitable for surfboard enthusiasts.
- Cons: Slightly slower compared to other options (approximately 5–6 hours). Comfort levels may vary. Trains operate on specific schedules.
Option 3: Take a Highway Bus
Take a bus to Negombo bus station, then catch a highway bus to Matara or Galle. From there, take a bus to Ahangama, and finally, a tuk-tuk to Nets.
- Pros: Cost-effective way to travel. Highway buses offer decent comfort. Departure times vary, providing flexibility. Immerse yourself in the local surroundings.
- Cons: The journey can be relatively slow, especially during peak times (approximately 5–6 hours). Surfboard transport can be uncertain on some buses.
