About Casa Netural Matera

Casa Netural is a cultural center that engages citizens, digital nomads and innovators from all over the world. Located in a four-storey house of about 220 square metres in a historic district of Matera, it serves as both a coworking and coliving space aimed at fostering new relationships, creating new connections, and developing new skills and visions.

Origin story

Casa Netural launched its first coliving project in 2012 in Matera, creating a space to host people from around the world and generate daily encounters between the local community and social innovators, digital nomads and curious travelers. The founders envisioned a place where ideas could take life, where innovators could find a launching pad for their ideas, and where experimenting and making mistakes would be part of the growth process.

Over the past decade, Casa Netural has evolved into a reference point for culture, innovation and experimentation in the community, hosting countless people from all over the world and building strong relationships through an approach based on collaboration, multidisciplinary openness and innovation.

Community philosophy

For Casa Netural, coliving is not just sharing a house, but a collaborative way of living and a continuous cultural contamination. The space gathers digital nomads from around the world, remote workers, curious travelers, people looking for change, and local community members seeking new inspiration and friendships.

Residents work side by side in the shared office, enjoy moments of daily life and organize weekly meetings to exchange skills and passions, community lunches and dinners, and walks to dive into nature. Each residency becomes an opportunity to contaminate each other, grow together by sharing stories and visions, practice different languages and explore new cultures.

The golden rules are sharing and collaboration, because together extraordinary results are achieved. Casa Netural maintains an approach where the door is always open, welcoming innovators, creative people, curious travelers or anyone simply looking for a place to feel at home.
