Community

Life at the home is co-created and feels grounded, local and deeply connected. Aurélie leads one free yoga class each week, and a Nomadico Community Manager brings guests together through welcome drinks, shared dinners, yoga sessions and local recommendations. Guests are free to join in or simply enjoy the relaxed atmosphere at their own pace. Mornings can start with yoga or a run in Chiberta Forest, then breakfast at the coffee bar, a place to mingle with fellow colivers. Weekends bring hikes, beach time and trips to San Sebastián. The neighbourhood has local cafés, bakeries and markets, and is a good place to practise French with locals.

How it started

After exploring the world, Aurélie returned to the Basque coast to create the kind of place she always loved staying in herself. Today she and her team, including Mia, the home's four-legged local celebrity, welcome guests with local tips, a relaxed atmosphere and a genuine passion for sharing their home.

Location

89 Av. de l'Adour, 64600 Anglet, France

The home is in Blancpignon, a calm, residential Anglet neighbourhood with local cafés, bakeries, small restaurants and a neighbourhood market (Halles de Blancpignon) rather than souvenir shops. Chiberta Forest is a 5-minute walk away.

Anglet sits between historic Bayonne and surf-focused Biarritz, with 11 Atlantic beaches, miles of pine forest, riverside paths along the Adour and a mild ocean climate. It still feels local, with Basque traditions and villages like Espelette nearby, plus a growing international community of remote workers, surfers and creatives.
